Netzschwefel Stulln

Netzschwefel Stulln 80% WG is a low-dust microgranulate with a sulfur content of 80% w/w, used primarily as protection agent against powdery mildew fungi in vineyards, fruit, vegetable, arable, and ornamental plant cultivation.
In fruit growing, Netzschwefel Stulln is also used against scab and has an infestation-reducing effect against spider mites.

Effect

Since sulfur is a contact fungicide with a preventive effect, the spray coating should be applied to the leaves before or at the beginning of an infestation.
The sulfur particles deposit on the leaf surface, preventing the germination of fungal spores. Therefore, it is important that the sulfur particles are evenly distributed on the leaf.
Under suitable conditions (temperatures > 15°C), sulfur evaporates and, to a certain extent, “fumigates” the leaves and grapes, even areas that have not come into contact with the spray or dust.
The effectiveness of sulfur applications depends on the concentration of elemental sulfur in the vapor phase and therefore also on the temperature. The best effect is achieved at temperatures between 20°C and 28°C.
At temperatures above 28 °C, partial evaporation and a loss of effectiveness are to be expected.*

*If sulfur products are applied at temperatures above 32 °C or in the blazing sun, the risk of leaf damage must be considered.

Benefits

The special grinding process creates the finest sulfur particles in the production of Netzschwefel Stulln, which are present in the form of homogeneous and low-dust microgranules.
• rapid wetting and easy dispersion in water when producing the spray mixture
• High suspension stability leads to the formation of homogeneous spray liquids in which the fine sulfur particles are evenly distributed
• Low-dust formulation protects the user from dust contamination
• Gentle re-stirring of the spray mixture after short interruptions in the application of the mixture
Additional advantages of Netzschwefel Stulln:
• No resistance development

• good plant compatibility

• high level of ecological value, as it is nature-friendly and gentle

• Possibility of use as a sulfur fertilizer (foliar fertilizer)

• Cost effective
